Biography

Eleanor Cooney, CPNP (Pediatric Nurse Practitioner) grew up in Boston, Massachusetts. Eleanor attended St. Elizabeth’s School of Nursing and received her diploma and RN.  She attended Boston College for her BSN.  Eleanor attended Northeastern University to complete her PNP work and then returned to Boston College and obtained her MS.

Eleanor first joined ALL Pediatrics in 1998, and was with the practice two years when she left to work in Florida, and later in Arizona. Eleanor returned to Alexandria, and to the practice, in later summer of 2005. She currently resides in Alexandria with her husband, James. They have two grown children, daughter Laura, and son Timothy.

Eleanor’s personal interests include a love of reading, swimming, and traveling.
