Biography

Rachel Rosenbaum, MD

Dr. Rosenbaum joined ALL Peds in July of 2011 and quickly became a great favorite with our Mark Center office patients.

She was born in Norfolk, Virginia, but moved to Richmond as a child, where she attended Collegiate School for grade school and high school.  She obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, majoring in Psychology.  Dr. Rosenbaum remained at UVA to obtain her M.D. in 2007, and then went on to do her residency at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, New Jersey, which is part of the UMDNJ system.

Having worked for a year in primary care pediatrics in the New Brunswick N.J. area, Dr. Rosenbaum decided to move back to her home state of Virginia to continue her career in pediatrics.

When asked why she chose pediatrics, she responded “Because I enjoy watching children grow up, developing relationships with them along the way, and making a difference in their lives.  Her treatment philosophy can be summarized by “wanting to help children be the best that they can be, by providing them with quality health care and guidance in shaping their lives.”  Her favorite saying is “Never let the sun set on a sick kid!”

Dr. Rosenbaum will be relocating to the Fairfax area with her new husband (wedding in July of 2011) Konstantin, and her two cats Rori and Mosby.  Dr. Rosenbaum rounds out her busy professional life spending time with friends and family, playing tennis, skiing, and cooking.

We are so pleased to have Dr. Rosenbaum as a part of the ALL Peds family.
