Biography

Dr. Michael Caplan grew up in Baldwin, New York, and attended Binghamton University where he received his B.A. in Psychology.  Dr. Caplan earned his M.D. from the Boston University School of Medicine, and went on to complete both his internship and pediatric residency at Childrens National Medical Center in Washington, D.C.  Dr. Caplan joined ALL Pediatrics in 2004.  Dr. Caplan is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, and is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Caplan and his wife, Dr. Allyse Weltman, are the proud parents of daughter Emmie, born in 2005. They currently call Alexandria home. In his free time, Dr. Caplan enjoys running, second only to his primary passion, fatherhood.
