Biography:

Barbara Wiater, CPNP, is the most recent addition to the ALL Pediatrics family, joining the practice in June of 2009 with the opening of the new Lorton office. 

Barb grew up and attended school in Detroit, Michigan.  She received both her Bachelors of Science in Nursing and her Masters in Nursing from Wayne State University, also in Detroit.

Barb decided she wanted to obtain her certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner because she had long been impressed with the resilience and potential of children....but primarily because she found she truly enjoyed working with them.

Her special clinical interest is in working with children with asthma.

Barb moved to the DC metro area 22 years ago, finding it the perfect place to pursue her love of colonial and civil war history.  She also enjoys quiet time reading, or doing crochet.
